Nineteenth Annual Region IV EMS Awards Ceremony

The Metropolitan Boston Emergency Medical Services Council, Inc. (EMS Region IV), which serves the residents of 61 cities and towns in Massachusetts, is planning its Nineteenth Annual Regional EMS Awards Program to publicly recognize the outstanding work of our Region’s more than 500 EMS staff members.

We are planning to honor the recipients of these awards at a dinner on Thursday, November 7, 2019 to be held at the American Legion Post 440, 295 California Street, Newton, MA. To make this event possible, we are currently seeking sponsors for the many costs associated with this event.  Everyone who provides support for this event by advertisement, or other means, will be recognized in a program booklet to be distributed to all guests at the awards dinner. In addition, sponsors will be able to have displays outside of the awards area. Attached is the information indicating sponsorship levels and ad information. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is the network of emergency medical technicians, paramedics and emergency room physicians and nurses who serve our communities by providing care to your family and loved ones who may become victims of sudden, serious accidents and illness before they ever reach the hospital.

They work as a complex team to provide quality emergency care outside of the hospital emergency room by responding to your home, the street, and workplace. Often, this is the most critical phase of life-saving treatment rendered to your loved ones.

The EMS network staff work under tremendous pressure, responding to calls 24-hours-a-day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year responding rapidly and making critical decisions about the rescue of trapped accident victims, the resuscitation and stabilization of heart attack victims, and the treatment and transport of the injured to the safety of hospital emergency departments.
